Terms and conditions
Version 2.11 · 6 October 2026 · Just B Entertainment (iDJ Recordpool), KvK 86821083 · support@idjrecordpool.com
Key points
- An account is personal. New participants register with the same email address as their Skool account and wait for authorization. New membership prices will not be announced until after the bootcamp, and always before any purchase. For existing agreements, the agreed price, access and other arrangements continue to apply.
- Music and CuePacks are offered under a limited usage license. Rights for public performance or further distribution may be required separately.
- The importer can make changes to the rekordbox library. Check your backups and system requirements before you import.
- After your membership ends, downloaded and imported tracks remain usable within the license; the importer does not block or change any files.
- To download the iDJ Importer, you accept these terms via “Agree and download”. Part of the iDJ Importer is the sharing of iDJ play data from rekordbox and Serato for usage statistics, Trending iDJ Tracks and targeted offers based on what, when and where you play; that window explains which data this is. The importer synchronizes at startup and approximately every two minutes while the app is running and not performing an import or update. You can object at any time and turn off sharing via My Account → Privacy; downloading and importing then continue to work as usual. A previously made choice not to share is retained.
- You retain your statutory consumer rights, privacy rights and the right to file a complaint or objection. These rights are not forfeited by ticking a box.
Article 1 · Identity, definitions and applicability
These terms apply to idjrecordpool.com and the related services of Just B Entertainment, trading under the name iDJ Recordpool, established at Vinckenbrinckstraat 205, 3066 PN Rotterdam, a sole proprietorship, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under 86821083, reachable via support@idjrecordpool.com (hereinafter: “iDJ”).
“User” is anyone who uses the website, music, CuePacks or software. “Premium” is the membership according to the offer at the time of ordering. “CuePack” is a package offered by iDJ containing audio files and/or preparatory DJ information, such as cues, loops and beatgrids. “Importer” is the software with which compatible CuePacks are imported into rekordbox or Serato. Rekordbox and Serato are third-party products; iDJ is not affiliated with them unless expressly stated otherwise.
In the event of a conflict between an individually agreed arrangement in writing and these terms, the individual arrangement prevails. Mandatory law always continues to apply.
Article 2 · Offer and formation
On the order page, before the order, iDJ states the main characteristics, the total price including taxes, the payment period, the term, any renewal, the method of cancellation, technical requirements and relevant limitations. An agreement comes into being when the user expressly confirms the order and iDJ accepts that confirmation. iDJ provides the agreement and terms in a way that allows the user to keep them. An obvious error in the offer does not bind iDJ, unless the user could reasonably rely on the offer being correct.
Ticking a download box is not an independent payment order and does not retroactively change the price or term of an existing subscription.
Article 3 · Account and security
The user provides correct and up-to-date account details, keeps login credentials confidential and reports any suspicion of misuse as soon as possible via support@idjrecordpool.com. An account is personal and may not be sold, rented out or shared with others without permission. iDJ may request reasonable verification to secure the account. iDJ does not place liability for its own security error entirely on the user.
The user must be authorized to enter into an agreement. For minors, the consent of the legal representative may be required.
Article 4 · Memberships, price and payment
During the bootcamp, no new paid memberships are offered via the website. New membership prices will not be announced until after the bootcamp. Before any purchase, the total price including taxes, the payment period and the terms are stated. Registration and authorization do not constitute a payment order. For existing agreements, the agreed price and other arrangements continue to apply. Payments are processed via Stripe; iDJ does not store full card details. Existing payment confirmations and invoices remain available via Account or on request via support@idjrecordpool.com.
In the event of a failed payment, iDJ informs the user and gives a reasonable opportunity to pay before access is restricted, insofar as the law requires this. Statutory collection costs are only charged after the legal requirements have been met. A future price increase is announced in advance, stating the effective date and the option to cancel. The user does not have to simply accept a substantial adverse change.
Article 5 · Term, renewal and cancellation
A monthly membership runs per month and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current payment period. An annual membership runs for twelve months. If it is tacitly renewed after that period, it can thereafter be cancelled at any time with a notice period of at most one month. Cancellation can be done online via Account or by email to support@idjrecordpool.com. Anyone who takes out a membership online can also cancel it online. iDJ confirms a cancellation and states the end date of access. More favourable statutory rights continue to apply.
Cancellation of Premium is different from the request to erase personal data. The user can do both separately. Termination does not affect amounts due for the preceding period and rights that by their nature continue.
Article 6 · Licence for music and CuePacks
Insofar as iDJ is entitled to do so, during the applicable access period the user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download the offered files and use them for their own DJ use within the rights granted per track and licence holder. Ownership and copyrights do not transfer. iDJ must be able to substantiate the concrete origin and chain of rights of the music offered; a user's agreement does not replace the permission of artists, labels or other rightsholders.
Without separate permission, the user may not resell files, accounts, CuePacks or metadata, upload them to another pool, provide them to third parties, make them publicly available or use them for training models. Whether a track may be played in public, broadcast, synchronized with visuals or released commercially depends on separate rights and applicable collective licences. iDJ will clearly state any track-specific exceptions in advance.
Article 7 · Importer and system requirements
The importer is made available for macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer on Apple Silicon and Intel, and as a test version for Windows 11 (64-bit). Rekordbox import supports rekordbox 7. Serato import is available for CuePacks where this is stated on the website; the supported play history concerns Serato DJ Pro 4, not Serato 3. The user checks compatibility, available storage, permissions on the computer and an up-to-date backup of their own. Installation and removal instructions are on idjrecordpool.com under iDJ Importer. Changes in third-party software may affect compatibility.
According to the supplied design, the importer makes a backup of the rekordbox library before each import. This must be checked technically, including location, recovery procedure and the limits of the backup. A backup made by the importer does not automatically replace the user's own backup.
Article 8 · Play history and data exchange
Before the first download, iDJ asks for active agreement with the current terms. Only after that agreement, via the “Agree and download” button, is the download started; the website stores the accepted version and the time. Downloading itself does not replace a missing agreement. An old download or earlier acceptance of terms does not automatically count as consent to a new data processing.
Sharing play data is part of the iDJ Importer, unless you have turned it off. At every start and approximately every two minutes while the app is running, the importer checks the available play history in the supported DJ software: currently rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro 4, and later also other programs as soon as the importer supports them (this will then be stated here). During imports or updates, this check is skipped. New plays can only be shared after the DJ software has saved them and the importer has a connection to iDJ. The importer recognizes only tracks that have been imported via iDJ into the managed iDJ folders. What goes to iDJ is the CuePack and track identification, title, artist, source program, play date and time and, if available, a hashed session code, session start and sequence number. Limited track characteristics may be sent along: genre, iDJ CuePack marking, the presence and hash of a cover and a LUFS value specified in the tags. During synchronization, the server can derive the country from the IP address. The importer also sends along the location of the computer, rounded to approximately 1 km, with which iDJ determines the place where you played; macOS or Windows asks for permission for this once, and without that permission no location is sent. No audio files, local file paths, playlist names, other tracks or personal notes are sent.
iDJ uses this data for usage statistics, Trending iDJ Tracks and targeted offers based on what, when and where you play, for example CuePacks or promotions that match your genres or your region. Only authorized iDJ administrators can see the individual data associated with the account in their administrator overview and usage reports. The public chart ranks tracks by all collected plays, with the most played at the top, and compares the position with the standing a week earlier. This chart contains no names or email addresses of members. A download, import or preview on the website does not count as a play in this chart.
You can object at any time and turn off sharing via My Account → Privacy (My play history), without losing access to the importer or your CuePacks. Turning off and erasing stops future sharing and removes the shared play history from the active records. A new import does not automatically turn sharing back on.
A user may request access, erasure or objection insofar as the GDPR permits. If an optional feature is not possible without certain data, iDJ explains this concretely in advance. iDJ may not exclude privacy rights by writing them away as “objection” in these terms.
Article 9 · Access control and files after the end
The importer checks whether the user has an active membership before new CuePacks can be downloaded or imported. Existing files are not modified, renamed or blocked in the process.
Tracks downloaded during the membership may continue to be used by the user after the end of the membership within the licence of Article 6; nothing happens to those files. In case of problems, the user can get in touch via support@idjrecordpool.com.
Article 10 · Automatic functions and updates
Automatic downloads and imports are only turned on if the user activates this option in the importer. According to the supplied design, the importer can close rekordbox after a period of inactivity, with a visible countdown that the user can stop. Verify the exact duration and operation: the importer only closes rekordbox if the computer has not been used with keyboard or mouse for at least 30 minutes, after a visible countdown of 60 seconds with the "Not now" button; rekordbox is never force-quit. The user can turn the function off again.
The importer may receive security, recovery and compatibility updates. iDJ makes clear which updates are essential, when older versions may no longer work and how data or settings are retained. Mandatory updates or substantial changes in functionality may not set aside statutory rights.
Article 11 · Rules for use
The user may not misuse the service, circumvent security measures, access other accounts, distribute malware, cause disproportionate load or infringe the rights of third parties. Research into vulnerabilities takes place only within any published responsible disclosure policy: support@idjrecordpool.com. In the event of a concrete suspicion of misuse, iDJ may take proportionate measures, where possible with prior notice, explanation and an opportunity to respond.
Article 12 · Availability, maintenance and support
iDJ strives for a properly functioning service but cannot always prevent interruptions due to maintenance or malfunctions. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where reasonable. A malfunction can be reported via support@idjrecordpool.com; a response time of 5 working days applies only if it can genuinely be met. iDJ will investigate a demonstrable defect within a reasonable period and provide appropriate legal remedies.
Article 13 · Digital content and legal conformity
iDJ supplies digital content and digital services that conform to the agreement, the description before purchase and applicable statutory quality requirements. The user retains rights in the event of a defect, including repair, replacement, price reduction or termination where the law provides for this. A provision about limited availability, third-party software or one's own backups does not limit these rights. Changes to continuously supplied digital services are only made within the statutory conditions and with appropriate information.
Article 14 · Right of withdrawal and cooling-off period
If the user concludes an agreement online as a consumer, a statutory cooling-off period of fourteen days applies in principle. The applicable start date, the model form, contact address and any consequences of immediate use must be clearly communicated before the purchase: idjrecordpool.com/herroeping. For digital content that is delivered immediately, the cooling-off period may lapse under strict statutory conditions, but only after a separate express request/agreement and a confirmation on a durable medium. For a continuing digital service, different rules may apply. The mere acceptance of these terms or the download of the importer is not a general waiver of the right of withdrawal.
Where required, iDJ provides a clearly accessible online withdrawal function during the cooling-off period. A withdrawal or cancellation can also be done via the other legally permitted channels.
Article 15 · Liability and remedy
iDJ is liable for damage insofar as the law and the agreement provide. The user reports damage as soon as reasonably possible with the information needed to investigate it. iDJ may first be given a reasonable opportunity to remedy a curable shortcoming, subject to statutory exceptions. For business users, liability for purely indirect damage, such as lost profit, may be limited to the amount that the business user paid to iDJ in the twelve months before the damage arose, insofar as legally permitted. For consumers, no general exclusion or impermissible liability limit is stipulated. Nothing in this article limits liability for intent or conscious recklessness or rights protected by mandatory law.
Article 16 · Force majeure
If a circumstance beyond iDJ's reasonable control makes performance temporarily impossible, iDJ informs the user where possible about the cause and expected duration. Invoking force majeure only suspends the affected obligations for as long as the impediment exists. If the situation lasts too long, the parties may terminate where law or agreement permits. Payments for performance demonstrably not delivered are handled according to the applicable rules.
Article 17 · Complaints and disputes
A complaint can be sent to support@idjrecordpool.com, with a description and an order number if applicable. iDJ confirms receipt and responds within 5 working days, or indicates when more time is needed. The user can approach statutory complaints procedures and competent supervisory authorities. If the parties cannot resolve it, the court with jurisdiction according to the law is competent. A consumer is not forced in advance to submit their case exclusively to an unreasonably distant court or private arbitration.
Article 18 · Amendment of terms
iDJ may amend these terms for future agreements. A material change to an ongoing agreement is communicated in good time and clearly, with the reason, effective date and the user's rights. Where required, iDJ asks for agreement again. In the event of a substantial adverse change, the user can cancel without additional cost where legally required. A new version does not tacitly apply retroactively to purchases already completed.
Article 19 · Intellectual property of the software
The software, design, documentation and trademarks remain the property of iDJ or the rightsholders concerned. The user receives a limited licence to install and use the importer for the agreed purpose during the applicable access period. Copying, modifying or distributing outside legally permitted cases is prohibited. Statutory rights to interoperability, security research and backups are not excluded.
Article 20 · Severability, law and version
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, other provisions continue to apply insofar as that is reasonable and legally possible. iDJ will not automatically replace the invalid provision with a rule equally onerous for the user. Dutch law applies, without prejudice to mandatory protection that the user enjoys in their country of residence. The version that applied at the time of agreement is stored and can be requested. Last changed: 3 October 2026.
